《体育学刊》是中华人民共和国教育部主管的惟一体育学术刊物，经国家新闻出版署批准国内外公开发行，教育部体卫艺司扬贵仁司长担任编委会主任，华南师范大学党委书记杨文轩教授任主编。2000年入选全国中文体育核心期刊，2002年被评为全国高校人文社科优秀学报，是国内外多个知名检索期刊和数据库的刊源，是国内同类刊物中权威杂志。
