随着全球变暖、海水升温,全球多处海洋出现了珊瑚白化死亡的现象。日本研究人员新发现一种能够防止珊瑚白化的化学物质,今后或可用于海洋珊瑚资源保护。日本京都大学2018年5月16日日宣布了这一研究成果。京都大学和东京大学等机构的一个研究小组通过大数据分析,在分子水平上揭示了全球变暖导致珊瑚白化死亡的机理,他们推测问题在于海水升温而产生了过多的活性氧。
