2024年5月29日，One Health Advances和《中国兽医杂志》联合举办了首次兼职编辑工作会议，为通过试用期的11名研究生兼职编辑颁发了聘任证书。本次聘任的兼职编辑均为学院研究生，主要参与两刊微信公众号推文撰写和图片设计、会议推广和宣传等工作。研究生担任兼职编辑，在促进自身学术成长、开拓学术视野的同时，也为两刊的发展注入了新的动力、增添了新的活力。

2023年3月6日上午，由华中农业大学动物科学技术学院、动物医学院和加州大学戴维斯分校西部食品安全与保障中心（WIFSS）共同主办的第二届One Health世界青年兽医大会开幕式在光谷潮漫凯瑞国际酒店以线上线下同步的方式举行。
小麦是一种起源于温带的喜凉作物，是全球三大谷物之一，每年提供了全球人口20%的蛋白质和卡路里。目前气候变化的小麦影响评估研究主要集中于研究气候平均态的变化对小麦产量的影响和模型不确定性上。但产量仅是粮食安全问题的一个方面，国际农业贸易也是全球众多国家保持粮食供给的重要手段。因此粮食安全的其它维度（如，农产品价格、农业相关的社会经济与民生问题）同等重要，但相关研究非常有限。
