金属钴被广泛用于电池的正极材料,例如镍钴锰酸锂电池即三元锂电池。钴的加入可以提高三元锂电池的能量密度、热稳定性以及充放电效率等。随着新能源汽车的发展和国家能源结构的调整,未来对钴的需求将会越来越大。然而,钴保有资源量的严重不足造成了钴价的疯狂上涨,也制约着电池产业对金属钴的使用。
