2016年11月13日下午,中国科学院强磁场科学中心磁体实验大厅一片欢呼,我国自主研制的混合磁体装置调试获得成功,实现了任务目标——40万高斯稳态磁场。“这台混合磁体装置也正式成为磁场强度在世界排名第二高的稳态强磁场装置,不久还有望冲击45万高斯稳态磁场的世界纪录。”中国科学院合肥物质科学研究院院长兼强磁场中心主任匡光力告诉《中国科学报》记者。
