《自然—气候变化》5月19日发表的一篇论文指出,由于政府采取防止新冠肺炎疫情传播的政策,截至2020年4月初,全球二氧化碳日排放量比2019年的平均水平下降了17%。目前,各国政府实施的防止新冠肺炎传播的政策对全球能源需求产生了巨大冲击。随着世界各地大量人口被要求待在家中、关闭边境,消费率和运输率都相应下降。不过,全球实时排放数据的缺失增加了量化这种冲击的难度。
